Some day, I wish to do a blog post on the importance of a visible email address. Unfortunately, today, is not the day. I have a "million" things to do. So I'm going to make this quick and direct this post at just one blog which I have had the pleasure of visiting in the last couple of weeks. The name of the blog is called Grammy's Recipe Collection. At this blog, Kathy, I think that's her name, shares recipes from her grandmother's recipe box. I enjoy reading the vintage recipes and often tell her so with my comments. Well, for the last couple of days I have been visiting her and have had a problem leaving her a message. It seems her comment box is not working. Now ordinarily this glitch could probably be remedied if only she knew. I doubt she does. Being a "good neighbor" I have tried to get in touch with her but, alas, I don't know how except hopefully this post will help. There is no email contact anywhere on her blog. Frantically I searched my email files to see if I had her email address but unfortunately, I do not. Now, I know many are hesitant to include an email address for fear of spam. This problem occurred a few weeks ago with another blog I visit often, The Food Company Cookbooks blog. when it happened there, I vowed to make sure my visitors would be able to get in touch with me. I had saved a link to a site called E-Mail Icon Generator when I happened upon it over at Bureka Boy's blog. It is so easy to use I don't know what took me so long to place it on all of my blogs. Now, it is there and the purpose of this post is to ask others to consider including an email address somewhere on their blog just in case something goes awry and someone needs to get in touch with the blogger.
